C-ute

C-ute Members; Umeda Erika (graduated), Yajima Maimi, Murakami Megumi (graduated), Nakajima Saki, Suzuki Airi, Okai Chisato, Hagiwara Mai, Arihara Kanna (graduated).

The forming of C-ute; formed in 2005 of seven girls from Hello! Project Kids who were not chosen to form Berryz Koubou. In January of 2006, Kanna Arihara (then a Hello Pro Egg), was added at the start of the Hello! Project Winter 2006 tour.

Since it's formation, three of C-ute's eight members have graduated; Umeda Erika (to pursue fashion modeling), Murakami Megumi (to pursue her studies further in school, or so she said ?), and Arihara Kanna (for medical reasons).

I'm not exactly new to C-ute; I've listened to them before and I know Airi really well ('cause of Buono). The first song I heard by this group was FOREVER LOVE, and to this day it's one of my fave songs by them (out of what I've heard, that is). But to start things off, I'm going to cover their first four songs in this entry, since their first single wasn't really until Sakura Chirari.

It's cool to hear all eight girls, instead of just the five of them. I've heard this song before, and I must say; I've never liked it very much. But OH NO. I think it's growing on me. I'm listening to it now, and it's actually kind of catchy. But nothing that would make my top whatever-number list. It's just okay. Not bad for their first song.

Megumi is pretty~ It's a shame she left; with her confidence/voice she could have gone on to be as popular as Airi. She was also in ZYX, Erika and Maimi too, so I'll make sure to cover that group in one entry. Maimi has a nice voice and I think she is good as leader. I really liked her little solo in this song. The girls don't look super different; younger yes, but not as young as Berryz were in their first single.

This video is so cheesy/funny, and the song is very peppy/upbeat. I don't think I've ever listened to this song (maybe once as a dub, idk), but I really like it! It makes me miss Megumi more though. She was so good!! Seemed like a natural leader, and definitely a great singer. lol, Mai with her sunglasses and dance moves. All of the girls sound great; as cute as ever. This song scores in my book~

Now this song I have heard. I love all the "Ookina Ai de Motenashite"s. And everyone is so freaking CUTE!! Sounding and looking. All the pink definitely says 'cute!' and I like it. I love everything about this; the dance moves, the outfits and especially the song itself. All parts of the song -verses, chorus, etc- are awesome!

Megumi; I love you. She is fastly becoming one of my favorites. I also like Kanna a lot too. But it seems like before she left, Megumi was tied for lines and popularity with Airi and Maimi. She had most of the solos in this song with those two. I love this song~

No PV for this song, I wonder why? But I like live versions just as much, sometimes more. HOMG MEGUMI!! I love her! This song is happy/catchy! I really like the chorus~ I loooove Airi's voice in this song, it's so perfect for her. But GAH I just can't get over Megumi.

I think Airi's voice is cuter and Megumi has a more mature(?) voice, idk how to describe it. I like both of them. They also seemed to get the most lines in this. I think that if Megumi hadn't left, instead of it being Airi and Maimi a lot; it'd be Airi and Megumi. But yeah, I like this song a lot~

Annnnd, that's it for this entry! Lots of C-uteness, lol.
