I give in. I love Massara Blue Jeans. It's so freaking catchy, it has wormed it's way into my head through repeated exposure to my ears. I woke up this morning singing "Non non, Kimochi shidai, Non non, Don't stop the music" to myself. It took me a moment to remember what song it was from, but then once I got it, I just had to listen to it all the way through.

Well, after I listened to Soku Dakishimete twice, lol.

I am in love with Maimi's solo in Massara, and I adore Airi's high notes. And I swear, the "Dotabata shitete mo, Love me! Love me! Love me! Love me!, Mechakucha shitai no, Love me too!" part is SO addictive. Well anyways, after that little blabber, onward!

Eeeee, it's Asuka's last single (three songs) with the group! OH, they have back-up dancers? Who are they? They are singing and dancing! Now I'm all curious. If anybody knows, share with me please~

The eye glitter makes it look like they are going to cry. But yeah, it's not one of my faves. Kind of on the boring side for me. I'm glad Asuka got to share lead vocals with Natsumi this time, but that isn't enough to make me like this song a ton. I do like the matching glittery black outfits, lol.

I liked the 'Ai Ai Ai/Yai Yai Yai's, and the 'Wow Wow Yeah Yeah's. Overall, the song is upbeat and fun, and I love how the crowd gets into it. For a moment I didn't think I'd be able to find the song (by the origional 1999 Momusu group, Gen 2), but then I got lucky and found this concert. It's the kind of song you can have fun with, and it sounds like they did. Nothing spectacular for me, but not bad.

Wikipedia tells me that this song is often traditionally sung by band members at their graduation concerts AND/OR final TV appearances with their group (prior to embarking on solo careers or new groups). Asuka was the first to graduate! Actually, I think she was the very first person to graduate H!P *clickity of keys and mouse button, search search* YUP, hellproject.com confirms it for me. The 1st to graduate H!P and Momusu.

I can see why they pick this song; it's very pretty/touching and the lyrics are perfect for a good-bye/graduation song. GAH, I'll miss you Asuka (;~;) Such a lovely voice, and I adore her smile. I can't find a graduation ceremony for her, so perhaps this last concert was her unoffical one? Yeah I think so, the way a few of the girls look like they are crying. Especially Kaori. BAH, now I'm going to get misty eyed. Sayonara Asuka~

This is so cute! I love the high notes, and the umi's in the chorus; 'umi no nioi, umi no ao/umi to kani, umi to uni' are just SO adorable. And the little swivel-move that goes with it! I really like Risako, Miyabi and Yurina's little one-line solos towards the end. But all the girls are lovable in this kawaii song.

Murata Megumi, Saito Hitomi, Ohtani Masae, Shibata Ayumi. Not a shuffle unit this time, but just another random H!P single for fun~ "Melon Kinenbi the only group in the history of Hello! Project to not undergo a graduation or other personnel change in its entire existence," how cool is that? And they are still around! Which is the message their latest album shouts; 'MELON'S NOT DEAD'

I picked this group because it was the third established in the H!P program (after Momusu, and T&C Bomber), and I want to start from the beginning and work my way forward, as I am with the three groups (momusu, berryz & c-ute). As for how I chose which single, I went with the one that had the highest listed sales, so far (which should mean that it was pretty popular).

That is quite some hat, lol. That's Ayumi, I think. I am totally new to these girls, but I love their voices. I also love their fluffy white costumes! So fun. I'm not a big fan of Masae's hair, BUT hair does not make a single, nee? The song itself is very catchy. Hitomi sounds adorable/pretty, I really liked her solos in this. Ayumi seems leader-like in this to me. But yeah, this is definitely worth a listen! I'll have to make an efffort to look into Melon more.
