FAEFAE, I totally heart you. Thanks so much for the video link! I loved it so much, I'm sharing it with everyone! Risa pwns this song! Eat your heart out, Nacchi! I think Risa's voice is more suited to the song than Natsumi's, cause she just sounds whiney when she sings it. UWAH, I love it. Risa sounds SO good, plus it's cool to see/hear something that is all her; not Morning Musume.

I just started watching Ribbon no Kishi; The Musical. I've never even heard of it, so I'm glad I stumbled across it on YT. I know there are two version (Aya and Rika) and I've heard the Aya one is better, but I'm starting with the Rika one. And I just LOVE Risa in it. I'm only at 5/16 and Risa doesn't have a huge part, but I just adore her.


OH, and while I'm rambling about Risa, here is that video I was talking about the other day, with her in the green dress. The 'Endoresu, endoresu samaa' song, lol. Manatsu no Kousen. Freaking A. This song is growing on me too. I love it this time around even more because Risa is singing it!! I love her dress, it's adorable. But! Moving on~


As I said last night, I was planning on covering this song next, and so here it is! I had to try and find a concert version with Maiha in it, and I did! Except it's just Maiha, Saki and Maasa. But here is the link to a version with all the girls. First thing I was thinking; What's Kaccho ee mean? "Cool!"

The song is very repetitive, but it kind of grows on you with each 'Kaccho ee' you listen to. It's so happy and catchy! I love the energy. I also like the little leg movement dance thing they do, it's fun. Saki was great!! Maiha and Maasa were good, but Saki stood out to me in this. Not a favorite, but it could become one.

Goto Maki. The only new Gen 3 member! After Asuka left, the number dropped from eight to seven. With the addition of Maki, the group was back at eight members. I don't know Maki well at all. So hopefully I'll get to as I cover Momusu songs she is in. Maybe I'll look into some of her solos as well, idk.


Hold the phone! (lol, what a funky saying) No Natsumi opening? HECK YES! And all the girls have lines!! I picked out the Gen 3 girls easily~ At first I was like; who cut their hair so short?! And then after a good look, I knew it was Sayaka right away. Mari is a cute as ever, and I got her easily too, Kei as well. Plus it helps that I can rule out Kaori, Nacchi, Yuko and Aya when watching the girls in the PV, cause I know them so well now! Which left the only face I didn't know as Maki.

I'm not super crazy about this song. I like it, but I don't love it. Better than some of their other songs (like Natsumi's single, I mean, er, Furusato) I like the vocalizing in the beginning, and all the Kaori shots, lol. I also like how upbeat the song is. The girls look good together in their black outfits, but the skirt misc outfit thing they have going on is bleh. LOL, even as I type this (while listening to Love Machine on repeat) the song grows on me. It's pretty good.


21seiki ~ Same as last entry; a B-side with no video and I couldn't find a concert version either. So just click the image to download the song for your listening pleasure! I wish I could find a video for it, cause I actually like this song! It's pretty, I like the melody a lot. Really really like the chorus too. This and Love Machine were Aya's last single as a part of Morning Musume. She graduated Jan 7th of 2000. I'll miss her, but she wasn't a super favorite. I did always like her smile, and those big ears, lol.

Love Machine is to date Momusu's best selling single! 1,646,630! Holygoodness. The only other song that came close is Koi no Dance Site. Which I'll be covering in my next entry!
