OMG YAY

Okay so this isn't H!P related, but H!PE has basically become me 'blog about whatever' blog, lol. I've spent the last few hours going between my expanding me love of Karen Girl's and feeding my slash fiction addiction. I googled Karen Girl's and didn't really find much, so when that doesn't work out I usually switch to the Google image search!! I found quite a few blogs where people talked about the girls and their songs, CDs, etc.

I was really sad when I learned that they had disbanded. They only released Over the Future and My Wings, plus their 1st and only album, Fly Over the Future. I've been watching random videos on them, including 'The Making of My Wings' which was fun. And on one blog imparticular I found out something that had me SO SO SUPER EXCITED! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Sakura Gakuin

Check out these blog entries to learn about them, but I'll give y'all a run down. The company Amuse has recently brought together the above eight girls to form a new group (but I think there are ten girls overall...)! The reason I am so excited is because Muto Ayami and Nakamoto Suzuka (two of the members of Karen Girl's) are in Sakura Gakuin! And in fact, Ayami is the leader!!

I'm not really familiar with any of the other girls, but am crazy happy that Suzuka and Ayami's singing + performing career's are continuing! The group has finally made their first single! I don't think it's been fully released yet, and I don't know about a PV preview either. But they have performed it;

And on a slightly different note, while searching for info on the girls I found something else! Ayami is actually quite a busy little bee, she's been in several commercials and at least two magazines, but I don't think she's done anything else in the singing area, besides this new group. The third member of Karen Girl's, Yuika Shima, I know pretty much nothing about, I don't know if she's gone on to anything else.

BUT!! I stumbled across a concert vid of Suzuka singing solo!! She sounds wonderful! Besides Karen Girl's, she has been in units AMULET and Angel Wing. I discovered this from Hello-Online Forums, and there I found a link to Amulet singing Buono's Renai Rider in concert. Their harmonies sound awesome! I really want to download Karen Girl's full album, and keep an eye on Sakura Gakuin!!
